The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Could there be a better time of the year?

I love Christmastime.
It makes me have those super-dooper happy, warm and glowy, cinnamon and sugary, ooey-gooey, warm and fuzzy feelings inside.

So many wonderful things to do and remember this time of year.

I love making decorations for the tree, sipping hot chocolate, eating candy canes, wearing tall boots over my jeans, bundling up in fluffy scarves, snuggling under warm heirloom quilts, taking Christmas pictures, making Christmas cards, making memories with  precious friends and family members, going to all of the Christmas parties, and having an excuse to throw glitter and garlands all over everything.

I have so many Christmastime goodies that I want to share with you.

Even though we just moved into our new apartment (see the full post about the move here), I am determined not to let the lingering boxes hinder or worse yet, postpone our Christmas festivities.

Our Christmas tree is up and lighted. Now all I have to do is decorate. Maybe I will get into a little bit of that tomorrow night.

Up went the Christmastime header early this morning here on the blog. What do you think?
I am in love with it.

Tomorrow I plan on sharing with you how to make these beautiful giant snowflake wreaths. I only call them a wreath because I think that they look especially spectacular hanging on your front door.

See you then!

  1. Thanks for your blog! I really enjoy the simplicity and beauty-- you take fantastically gorgeous pictures. Have a wonderful holiday season!

  2. Oh, you are so sweet! Thank you so much for your encouraging words. I wish you and your family a Holly Jolly Christmastime! :)
